With the level of pre-emptive negativity on this forum, I can see you getting something from this. There is no way that Carroll won't score (unless he gets sent off by a comedy ref for an innocuous aerial challenge). That said, if we hit the ground running this could be painful. I think Smith has been put on to seek and destroy VDV. However in reality he will seek and give away lots of freekicks against VDV. He might just get VDV riled up, he's got a bit of a hot temper.
