Insomnia suspended then?

Haven't seen or heard of the incident, so unless it's reversed or appealed then yes he'll miss the game on Sunday. Which is good as he was nailed on to score against us again.

Just seen it on Sky, not a chance it will get overturned it's an unprovoked headbutt to the side of Wilshire's head.

Wigan manager Roberto Martinez: "Charles N'Zogbia's actions were unforgiveable but we should look at the positives today, not negatives."

Suggests he definitely won't be appealing anyway.

Look at their defence tonight: Ronnie Stam, Gary Caldwell, Antolin Alcaraz and Steve Gohouri, with Steve Caldwell on the bench.

Carroll will have a field day, in fact all our attacking players will.

carroll is all our attacking players.

I laughed at this in such a sad way because it's so true. :weep:

Appeal would only see it extended for wasting (ha!) the FA's time wouldn't it?

Is it really true that we have only scored once away against Wigan?

Was that Carroll one yeah?

Guthrie penalty.

Also interesting to know that of the 4 goals Wigan have scored against us at their ground over the years 3 of them were scored by Ryan Taylor.

Carroll didn't do much in the return fixture IIRC.

Hopefully they appeal so that he's out for the derby as well. (or is that outside of 4 games)
