Guest neesy111
"Somebody better get down there and explain offside to her,” Keys said. “Can you believe that?” Gray responded. “A female linesman. Women don’t know the offside rule.” “Course they don’t,” Keys replied. “I can guarantee you there will be a big one today. Kenny [Dalglish] will go potty. This isn’t the first time, is it? Didn’t we have one before? Wendy Toms?” Keys was referring to Dorset postmistress Toms, the first female to run the line in the Football League and Premier League. Gray is overheard on the recording saying “she was ------- hopeless as well”. Keys later criticised Karren Brady, the West Ham vice-chairman, who had written a newspaper column about sexism. “The game’s gone mad,” he said. “Did you hear charming Karren Brady this morning complaining about sexism? Do me a favour, love.”

steve_69
The best thing about this is that the decision they were talking about was absolutely spot on by the lineswoman. It was a split-second decision that, in real time, looked offside but when slowed down was about a yard on. Really tough one to call but she nailed it, which makes Gray and Keys look like an even bigger pair of wankers!

Colocho
But it's discrimination. They insinuated she is not fit for the job because she is a woman. Why should racism, homophobia, sexism etc be looked at in different lights?

Guest firetotheworks
Totally the correct decision. All forms of fascism should be treated with an equal amount of disdain, ideally, in an ideal world.
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
probably already been said but get rid of the pair of them permanently not just because of their comments but for the good of decent football coverage.

Guest
They were out of order but one night of cretin Shepherd and Jamie Redknapp running the show and we'll be begging for them back! They can be arseholes but there's something about Sky without those two that would be weird.

Pilko
I think as further punishment, in their next TV appearance, they should both have to wear a woman's outfit and Keys should have his hands waxed... and it's LIVE!
