I'm f***ing excited at the thought of Leon Best and Shola returning from injury.

Have times ever been this bad?  :undecided:

I can remember watching Bobby Shinton top score with 7 goals for a full season so possibly.

Kuqi joins Pardew at Newcastle until end of season

Thursday, 10 February 2011

Shefki Kuqi has signed for Newcastle on a short-term contract that will take him to the end of the season. Alan Pardew has moved to bolster his limited striking stocks after Andy Carroll left the club in a £35m move to Liverpool during the transfer window.

Kuqi recently had his contract at Swansea terminated by mutual consent, and at the age of 34 – and given that he has never been the speediest of strikers – his is a signing unlikely to placate fans angered by the departure of Carroll.

Before the deal was agreed, Pardew said: "We have done the necessary research and now we are about to make a decision on whether we are going to do something. If all goes well, we could even have somebody in by the time we play Blackburn at the weekend."

At least it's just till the end of the season. He's 6"2 so get some crosses in on his bonce and hopefully he'll put a few away.

You think he might put a few away?  If he plays every one of our remaining games and maintains his Premiership scoring record he'll score twice.

I saw his Youtube videos and I didn't see him score any with his head. He mainly just seems to be a fat bastard who barges Championship defenders around.

Do you understand how misely Ashley is now? He won’t even pay Ewerthon or Aliadiere’s wages! Aliadiere would have probably accepted about 7k a week.

Crystal palace fans saying he’s the worst player they’ve ever seen and now he signs for us. This just sums Ashley up.
