Going by the trusted 'bibs in training' methodology the side will be this:

          Harper

Simpson Williamson Colo Jose

Barton Guthrie Nolan Jonas

       Shola  Best

Surprisingly no sign of the mercurial talent Stephen Ireland anywhere!

Doubt Ireland will play but I don't think Enrique appeared in any of the training pics before the Stoke game and he still played.

This season: Wolves 1 Newcastle 1.

Last season: Wolves 1 Newcastle 1, Newcastle 1 Wolves 1.

Stat of the game: The last three games between these teams have ended 1-1.

I see no issue with this.

Harper

Simpsons Willi Colo Enrique

Barton

Nolan

Best Ameobi Ranger Lovenkrands

Best and Lovenkrands can drop deep and run at the fullbacks from wide. I like it.

Still only win 1-0 with that formation in front of an empty goal.  Harper with a header at the back post.

Two weeks off and we're still unsure ffs.

They're clearly not fit, don't risk them. I know it's an important game, but there's little point wasting a substitution if any of them have to come off after 15mins, injured for the next game as well.

No logic risking players when a further knock could end their season. I'd be confident with Ferguson/Simpson against Hammill,

Mark Douglas (Sunday Sun) on Twit reckons he's heard Enrique has been pencilled in for left wing!?

Probably and hopefully a load of shite.

Best not looking too great according to this.

Chickens coming home to roost?

Looks like it could be down to Ameobi and Nolan to see us home.

Well, as you say.  Would be chickens coming home to roost wouldn't it?

Why, however, would the official site say "Injury doubts Leon Best and Jose Enrique were able to take part, which suggests both players have a chance of playing on Saturday" if Best broke down in the training session that was being photographed?
