Other clubs' transfers

Actually just remembered Frey has had a massive injury.

De Sanctis, Benaglio or Diego Lopez would all be good for them too.

De Sanctis in particular, it's a crying shame he's never got near the Azzurri side.

If Arsenal sign a legitimately good goalkeeper and centre back, they definitely won't choke like they have done these past few seasons.

A goalkeeper and centre-back won't help them overtake the Manchester clubs imo.

They'll get closer to them if they do sign those players imo.

Another thing I reckon is, with a new goalkeeper and a good CB to partner Vermalen, they won't throw away games like they did so on many occasions last season.

Must admit, I've not got the first idea what Liverpool are playing at. Can't see any rhyme or reason to what they're doing, who's coming in and going out, what formation they're going to play next year or what style of football. It's just baffling.

This.

fucking excellent isn't it?

Scumderland on the verge of signing Gardner

Good signing. Next year with Gardner and the man u 3 the derby will be lot more competitive

Think they're going to be a very solid side next year. Difficult to beat and fairly dull for the most part, sort of a Birmingham from two seasons ago. Aside from Gyan and at a push Sessegnon they've no flair what so ever.

Those signings will assure average mid-table safety IMO.

They'll not be in trouble, but the likes of O'Shea and Gardner won't exactly push them onto the top 8/6.

Manu 3, larrson, Westwood, elmo, Gardner will make sure they are here for another season.

Can see them beating us early as well, their players are bound to settle quicker than ours, but fingers crossed our quality that we've brought in shine through at a later date. Were changing style and even formation, that with loads of players changes and new captain will be a massive factor for the first 5-10 games, especially for the derby.

Then again they've got the two greatest levellers known to the football universe, Steven Bruce and being a bottling club.

Aye, I was thinking that if we have a lot of new faces in the team. Especially if Barton and Jose are off by then too.

Don't see why we should be worried or afraid of the likes of Wes Brown, Darron Gibson and Seb Larsson.

Pile of s****.

I'm sure there was no need to be afraid of DJ Campbell or Luke Varney at the start of last season either :pow:

Their midfield still looks very average. Gardener, Gibson and Cattermole provide absolutely zero creativity, even if Gardener can grab a goal or two, can see Gyan and that Sess being stranded up top a lot next season. They really need to bring in a creative midfielder and a big striker, someone like Ba would've been ideal for them as there's no way Gyan can perform the out-and-out striker role, or they could be in for a scrap next season.
