Other clubs' transfers

to be fair... its not luka's fault. It was stupid on Tottenhams and Levy's behalf to agree to

negotiate if a big team came in with an offer. By not agreeing to this, it is understandable

that Luka would become upset.

How do you know he's telling the truth?

it's like any transfer saga. how do you ever know who's telling the truth. Fans in the end like to believe what they want to believe.

It's different at Spurs.. If the ITKs are agreed on it, it's true

1437: FOOTBALL - BBC Sport chief football writer Phil McNulty understands there was NO agreement between Spurs chairman Daniel Levy and Luka Modric that the midfielder could leave if the right club came in for him when he signed his new contract. Full story to follow on BBC Sport website.

The way Levy works i honestly think Modric is talking out of his arse when he says there was an agreement.

Maybe he just misunderstood last summer then when he was told by signing that contract it would enable him to play for a big London club at the highest level.

Tottenham aren't looking too hot this summer.

Usually pretty good with getting players in early.

Not really linked to players as much as they usually are either, doesn't seem like they're up to much so far.

Harry came out a few weeks back and said he's been told he'll have to sell before he buys.

wouldn't think its down to lack of cash for players tbh, more their squad is already massive and wage bill rather full and needing to make space on that before they bring in someone

Bingo. Well more the 25 man squad rule tbh.

We're linked to a lot of players usually and we're labelled a joke. Now we're not linked to many and it means "we're not upto much".

Only premeirship teams that have made big movements so far are Manchester united , yourselves and Liverpool (whose signings look pretty damn average at best), oh and Sunderland (whose signings look like a streak of hot toilet p*ss).

Lets wait until the end of the window to see what happens.

I'd like to think this is your actual opinion rather than saying it just because you're on an NUFC board.

Infact, I'd be interested to know what other neutrals (outside of NUFC + SAFC) think of their movement.

that was 2 days ago. I was then asked

"Who do you expect them to attract with their budget, wages, location, season objectives and general club appeal?

Javier Pastore?"

to which i replied

"No not pastore but a damn lot more exciting players then they managed to get now. It just screams of them accepting a 10th to 15th place finish. NO ambition at all."
