Onyewu has joined Sporting Lisbon.

How the hell has someone like him gone on to play for Newcastle, Milan & Sporting.

  What the hell? His European career baffles me, what are Sporting thinking?

He was not bad in Milan before injury...

It was a one off game like but when Spain played England under 21s recently he looked extremely wobbly at times. Lot of money for a young 'keeper and given Fergie's history in this area I wouldn't be too confident about this lad were I a Man Utd fan.

Seems we are in talks for Cesc. According to our press we are offering €30m and the are asking for €39m. Looks like it will happen this time.

What's the plan if ye buy him like?

Push Iniesta further upfield, maybe out left?

The fact Man U have acted on the fact they need a new keeper and centre-back just shows the difference between Wenger and Fergie.

Phil Jones rebuffed Arsenal.

Even still Phil Jones is not what they need/needed.

Cesc will rotate Xavi, who has had muscle fatigue problems throughout the season and can't start 50 games a season like he's been doing for the past 5 years. They will of course play together too some times, with Iniesta being rested or pushed out wide (thus giving rest to one of the forwards). He opens up a lot of rotating options which we haven't had so far.
