Unfortunatlely the delegation would know the actual stats rather than someone misreading wiki

Was about to say, those stats seemed fishy to me.

Should be 27 assists for a start

As long as we have their eyes out fee wise I couldn't care less. He's a very good player, arguably our best; but he's a dirty, petulant horrible little cunt and after his antics at the start of the season I haven't been able to get fully behind him. Was always a when not if after that, just wanted him to play well and raise the fee, which he's done.

Don't want players who don't want to be here giving their all, we've had enough of them over the years, usually at our cost, at least this time we make something out of it.

No ill feelings, no sadness, just nowt really.

I don't think Cabaye has improved because of his new role. If anything I think he's less suited to it than playing deeper... seems lost a lot of the time IMO.

He does, surprised some might think this is his best position. Lacks that bit of skill and movement for me. Much prefer him deeper where he can control the game and look up and pick the passes out.

He doesn't he lacks that bit of skill just to skip away from a man or a quick turn away like a Mata/Oscar, the movement/agility/skill isn't up to the level it should be at for that position. He has the vision for the role and accuaracy of passing/shooting but he struggles to get himself in the game enough. If you compare him with other number 10's who are a class act it's plain to see cabaye falls short. In a deeper role, he has the attributes to compete with the best.

Sell him for £25m, sign Will Hughes for £10m.

Ashley makes some money and looks like the super businessman that he is.

Cabaye goes to a club who wants to win stuff.

Pardew gets a player who isn't likely to drag us into those pesky European spots.

Hughes gets to play in the premiership at a big ground with big crowds.

Then when Hughes gets ideas above his station and wants to win things we can repeat the process.

Everyone wins!!!

Yohan we love ya and will miss you.

The ups:

- I think we can get a bigger fee for him now than the summer. His stock is absolute as high as it gets.

- We might be able to get a player thrown in.

- We won't have to see him play against us in the league.

- He was leaving in the summer anyway, with nothing left to play for now isn't that bad

- 20m at the end of last season after the way he played? I would have been happy with that.

- virtual 20m profit looking likely.. oh yeah we wont see much of that invested in the team will we.

The downs:

- He has been back to his best this year after a sorry season last year and is influential in our side.

- Debuchy meltdown incoming.

- The Derby is fucked

- We are unlikely to get anyone in to replace him

- He is a beautiful man and the forum mancrushometer will diminish to record lows.

After 40 year of being a season ticket holder since the age of 4, if Cabaye is sold and there are no replacements at the club within this window, then this person will not be going back until Ashley is out of this club  I'm sure there will be a few thousand who follow also. I will not be able to continue supporting a person who has no interest in the football club or its supporters. Having Pardew in charge and the total disregard of the fans in every way from under strength teams in cups to sponsorship deals; this will be the last straw in my books and I will return when the cancer has gone never to return.

I've wanted Will Hughes for a long time, love it if we got him. Sadly he'll probably end up somewhere like Liverpool.

Would be a fantastic addition, especially now when he has some time to bed into a side that's season is effectively over. Think we will definately make some plays for replacements if we get the cab move sorted today/tmrw. More likely however we go abroad then Will Hughes, which is too bad.
