BlueStar
Think about all of the money we got off the club that some claim are the richest in world football. £19 million looks less of a bargain every time we play. Are the ones who said it was a good deal still happy that we got the cash? Of course they are, Leeds/Pompey /world class balance sheets etc. We need some songs about the balance sheet. Unlike some other teams We live within our means Newcastle! Woooah Newcastle! Woooah!
Crumpy Gunt
Starts for PSG tonight Would we be happy to see a season ending injury? OR do we still love him?
r0cafella
Starts for PSG tonight Would we be happy to see a season ending injury? OR do we still love him? Personally I still love him. You can't claim to have any sort of footballing ambition and stay with us sadly
Turnbull2000
in the Keegan days, a player like Cabaye would be blessed to play for a club like us. Hell, even during Sir Bobby Robson's tenure. Today, we're a stepping stone. Sickening. Due the monster that has become of the Champions League, most clubs below the enriched top 4 are now stepping stones for the better players. It's not like the old days when there was prestige in the second tier and the financial gap wasn't a fucking huge chasm.
Disco
Heard or read somewhere today that the last time we won a game without Cabaye was in 2012. We've won in the cup without him. In the league this season, we beat Fulham without him starting - however the only goal was after he came on. Last league win without him was December 2012 vs QPR (1-0 Shola). Something like 2 goals without him in 900 mins I'm sure I read earlier. Unbelievably pathetic.

Tiresias
Cabaye will walk that league, he's built for the intensity of the premier league. Having said that do really rate PSGs other midfielders
