We will end up keeping Cabaye, the club will make out that the failed transfer activity of him to PSG caused all the problems for nufc in trying to bring in new additional players. Yeah, as in probably not this window but long term (which is shit anyway, but I fear that's what will happen). Anything less would be even more stingy then Ashley has run us in the past. Have a look at transfers in and out since Carroll went and you'll see the outs even up with the ins. Basically as long as the club breaks even outside of transfers Ashley seems to run us as a break even on transfers as well, or that's how its been in the past.
