ponsaelius
Glad Kljestan has finally moved on from MLS to Europe to break out of his shell. Three goals in 27 from midfield for Anderlecht. Not too shabby. Been poor by all accounts. Sewelly does your comms guy scream at shots? He's just a massive bellend. Giving Americans a bad name with some of the shit he's coming out with. Screaming like a fanny whenever a US player dribbles towards goal.

Segun Oluwaniyi
How is Guadeloupe allowed to compete in this? It's just an overseas department of France. I'm rather sure it is not a member of FIFA, either. Really though, it could be a very strong team if all the players with roots in the area were to appear for them. Many well-known Black French Footballers have heritage there.
Ameritoon
What a shitty place to have this match to, btw. Shit atmosphere and even if there were you wouldn't be able to hear it. I was hoping that wouldn't translate on tv, but apparently it did. Really was a shit atmosphere, but still really enjoyable. Only gripes are with Jones, not sure how he keeps starting over Edu, he hasn't proved anything in his time here. Donovan was quiet too, but otherwise we easily controlled the game. I need to go to more games, fucking great time tonight.

Guadeloupe is a member of Concacaf; they are not a member of FIFA, (Martinique, French Guiana are the same; pretty sure French possessions in the Pacific have the same status with the OFC) Also, imagine a Suriname side of Dutch players. ponsaelius
Guadeloupe were a good side to watch the other night, even when they went down to 10 they tried to play through midfield. One of my favourite stories at any footballing level was when they dragged Jocelyn Angloma out of retirement a few years ago at 41 and converted him from RB to an attacking midfielder. Carried them to the tournament and then was the key player for them getting to the semi-finals.
