Mick
He played well and is one of the reasons that we played a good passing game and won. He's not a winger but he's better than Jonas who he's replacing.
Tachikoma
Still think there's a place for him if we decided to play any formation that utilised a player just behind the strikers/forwards. What bimpy said.
Andy
Not sure about him. Technically he's sound, but he never really looks like he wants to step up and influence the game. If he played with more energy he could be a great player.
KDT
He's better in the middle or cutting in on his left, he's not an out and out winger.
Taylor Swift
It's good to have him as an option. I don't think it's realistic to expect squad players to be world beaters every match. We have other players that we rely on for special moments every match but he'll be an asset throughout the season, that's something I'm sure of. He'll get assists and goals and win us points, not consistently but good enough for a squad player.
Gallowgate Toon
Hard to say with him really, I'd like to have seen him play with Remy on the pitch.

Guest neesy111
Sad to say, he's not good enough for this level if he's playing on the wing.

ujpest doza
He played well and is one of the reasons that we played a good passing game and won. He's not a winger but he's better than Jonas who he's replacing. He wasn't on the field of play when we actually looked good and battered them though. He's neat and tidy but not quick enough, strong enough or decisive enough for the PL. He looked good when we played in Europe where the pace is slower though. The goal was down to Ben Arfa and nobody else so I'm not holding that against him. We played well for most of the game, we had more movement up front when Shola went off. The College Dropout
Liked the movement from the midfield in the first half except none of them got in the box enough. The two statues upfront dragged them down.

It was an improved performance from us from the first whistle, and Marveaux not being on the pitch for the final 15 minutes is coincidental. The introduction of Remy/absence of Shola and the fact our formation was close to a 4-2-4 had much more to do with us battering them at the end. As for his attributes, he's got great acceleration over shorter distances and uses the ball more intelligently than a lot of our players. His decision making is probably better than HBA's, tbh. Not being strong enough is a lazy criticism,too- I suppose HBA, Coutinho, Silva et al aren't up to the PL either?

Remy's crossfield ball for the assist was canny as well mind. We always look better when Sholas not on the field to be fair. marveaux wasn't there either when we looked good and that was when we had Gouffran running at people, Cabaye orchestrating things in midfield and Remy linking well with everyone. toontownman
Emre MK II. Bags of ability but something missing. Emre influenced the game more than this bloke tbh. Aye proper harsh on Emre.. he had tons of fucking fight and a decent shot, loved a tackle. Emre was just always fucking injured. Game changer when he played. Could actually attack and dribble through the middle of the park too which we lack. A fit Emre in this team would be wank worthy. That said.. Sissoko Cabaye Ben-Arfa Marveaux Remy Cisse Would be fun to watch for home games.
Mole_Toonfan
I'd be interested to see how good he looks with Remy in the starting line up instead of Shola.... someone who actually is capable of linking up with and making runs for him to pass to. Would be a godsend for someone like Marveaux i imagine.
The College Dropout
He's in the team to be an attacker - a creator. He needs to look to make an impact where it matters. Consistently.

Agreed but having said that it will make it a lot easier for our midfield to create chances when the forwards are actually showing for the ball and forcing defenses backwards. Cisse and Shola are the stuff midfielders have nightmares about. Don't drop deep. Rarely move wide. Can't hold it up for shit.
