Willow
Anyone else think that with our new added French players, this could really bring out the best in Alan Smith? I see Smith becoming an integral part of this new setup..

Guest Roy the Irish Magpie
I suppose when I go to st james' next seson I can expect to see a french flag or 2 in the stadium for the new players. We have made 3 decnt signings in a week, not bad at all. I hope there is more to come, would love another decnt striker.

Tiote........cabaye............... .......................Barton...................... .......ben arfa........................marveux ..........................Ba......................... f***ing hell that is impressive And five of them speak French. Ronaldo
People are still putting Joey Barton in the middle?

Chris_R
People are still putting Joey Barton in the middle? Well I sure as fuck wouldn't put him on the wing. In the middle is the only place I'd consider him. Though I'd probably prefer Ben Arfa in the middle and Jonas on the wing myself, but Barton in the middle would be pretty decent too. Incognito
So next season, opposition on ball. Tiote BOOM! Short pass to Cabaye. Through ball down the left BOOM! Marveux BOOM!ing down the left cuts inside like he prefers, and lays ball off for Ben Arfa. BOOM! Ben Arfa has ghosted inside the full back and into the penalty area and slid the ball across the six yard box. Ba. BOOM! Aye,you can't beat a bit of Ba Ba Boom!! Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
People are still putting Joey Barton in the middle? Playing as part of a midfield trio is very different to playing in a 4-4-2.
ponsaelius
People are still putting Joey Barton in the middle? I agree in general but I think he might be slightely better in a 3 man midfield.
Guest Recoba
Barton ain't going to be here. Bollocks to what he says, probably after another loyalty bonus. Cabaye is his replacement. Matuidi to replace Nolan. Kazenga has suddenly been shown the door because we now have Marveaux. Barnetta could be Routledges replacement, Ba in for Best then we just need a quality buy to fill the number 9.
Disco
Can't wait to see a bit more pace and trickery in the team like. Be nice not to be so solely reliant on Jonas to provide it all going forward. Much needed.
Tooj
I must admit, I'm liking the fact we seem to be acquiring players with some pace and a bit more dynamism than we've had in the last couple of seasons. We all know how much Bellamy's pace was a key factor in our uplifting under Robson. Obviously you need to have the ability to go with pace as well.
