NUFC v Arsenal - 13/8/11 - 5.30pm - Live on ESPN - MATCH ON

Well he's a long shot better than Ryan Talyor, or James Perch for that matter. But as Wilson said, the sheer fact that we're talking about such a problem is just un-fucking-acceptable. I'm absolutely raging at this- how the hell can you get away with running a football club like this? Fucking criminal.

Sounds like Marveaux won't be starting.  Pardew again saying he's off the pace because of his injury last season, sounds like Obertan might start.  I would like us to play 4-2-3-1/4-5-1 and pack the midfield, but think we will play 4-4-2 with shola up top.

Was thinking it will be more lke that.  Would start Gosling and Barton on the right though.  Can't see us going 4-2-3-1 and throwing Vuckic in.  Think we should though if Marveaux isn't 'up to speed'.

Not a great start to the season for Marveaux.

Why?

Being injured when the season starts is not optimal like.

Not up to speed doesn't mean you are injured. Unless he has been confirmed as injured and i have missed it?

Not a great start to the season for Marveaux.

Why?

Well despite everyone claiming he was fully fit nearly two months ago, he missed most of the pre-season action and isn't fit enough to be involved yet. Not ideal is it?

No not ideal, but a little harsh to say it isn't a great start to the season, when he could still make a huge impact coming off the bench for the first few games.

Unless of course he isn't fit enough for that either?

Pardew will start with Yohan Cabaye and Tiote against the Gunners and could even hand a start to Gabriel Obertan with Demba Ba poised for his Premier League bow in black and white.

He said: “Cabaye and Ba look ready to rumble.

“Marveaux is a bit off the pace because of his injury, but we have Obertan now.

“These players who the fans haven’t seen will like what they see.”

Speaking on Tiote, who has secured his visa and is back from Ghana, Pardew said: “He trained yesterday morning and he will start the game.

“We expect him to have a great season.”
