Toon Hoser
Apparently Jack Wilshere was so upset by the violence that his mummy had to make him not one but TWO steaming mugs of Bovril last night. He still cried a little.

Nobody
Couldn't care less, the important part is that Song has been charged with violent conduct. Shame that doesn't help us at all, mind.

Mr. Snrub
Taylor didn't even do anything either did he? This is mental I read an Arsenal fan saying they could have had 3 penalties. One for Gervinho being fouled, one for Barton dragging him up and one for Taylor trying to con the ref by saying Gervinho elbowed Barton.

Arsenal fans genuinly are the most clueless fuckers on the planet like, remember one of there blog editors claiming Phil Dowd had arguably the worst refereeing performance in Premier league history during the 4-4 comeback. Cronky
Very disappointed if this is true. It's a kneejerk response to a media over-reaction. The players that intervened were genuinely trying to pull the two players apart and it all ended peaceably.
JH
Not surprised we're appealing. Pretty naff charge. Can see us getting off it by showing them the footage of us trying to diffuse it all and citing Barton's caution as punishment for his actions. 80
This is all about Barton and the fact they can't touch him due to the yellow This is their way of punishing him/us Shut up man I can't see any other realistic explanation. The idea they're putting down a firm marker to start the season off doesn't really add up just because the idea our players weren't under control is so provably laughable - it's a trumped up charge. Hanshithispantz
We will get off with it on appeal, like Cronky has said, there reacting to the media over-reaction. And it was one fucking massive over-reaction like.

Charging both clubs just to get at Barton? Can't see it tbh I believe their is a 'Barton tax' on a lot that he does on the pitch but I think this would be a bit far. Aphrodite
From memory, it's a charge that is automatically triggered whenever a certain number of players surround the referee (think it's four). It's usually only punished with a small fine.
