Newcastle in the Premier League, interested in the services of the RC Lens trained striker, have approached Brest and have made an offer in line with the player's release clause of €8m. It is being said that on Friday night, Brest officials were waiting for the approval of RC Lens, which still holds 50% of the player, to close the deal. Any idea how reliable they are? Had searched for more information re: reliability but gave up due to my lacking Nut's mad French skills. Regional makes me more inclined to believe it, for some odd reason. Surely less "tabloidy"?
