Dinho lad
Worried he was trying to go out on a high today Go out as in it's the final game of the season or as in it's his last game for NUFC??

Looked more like last NUFC game to me, he does like to do a lot himself but it seemed he was doing it more so today. Probably just me being paranoid. Ishmael
Yeah, that was a pretty average Ben Arfa performance.
Elliottman
Really mixed bag. A few moments of brilliance and a lot of shit. Isn't fit yet, still overweight. Pretty sure he will be here next here hopefully with a full pre season in him.
Gallowgate Toon
Good first half, poor second. Obviously not fit enough, he could barely walk at times. Should have gone off.
Wullie
Love just watching him. So do most of our players apparently.
Kanj
I honestly saw today's performance as he actually looks about 1 match or so away from turning some of those chances into something more substantial. He was doing this all over teams in the beginning of the season before he got hurt. Some of the stuff he does man, my goodness - you watch football for people like him. Hope his hamstring gets fully sorted, he gets some rest and comes back fit and ready to fuck some shit up.
Guest icemanblue
He's still carrying a lot of weight, like. Looked shattered every time he needed to track back.
Dave
Love just watching him. So do most of our players apparently. At a better team his teammates would be making use of the spaces left by the two, sometimes three players that he attracts when on the ball.

Mick
Was it Ben Arfa who was having a go at Webb after the match?
alexf
Few nice dribbles in the first half and then after Arsenal's goals when he moved central and went on a couple of bursts I thought "ok here we go he's stepping up a gear now" But looked shattered after about 70mins onwards and seemed to just stop passing and then pretty much lost it constantly. Get yourself rested and healed up Hatem and comeback stronger than ever next season!

Guest Haris Vuckic
I think we should keep him fat. It's like the fatty at school suddenly getting revenge by being mint at football. He's the antithesis of the John Smiths advert.
littlelunchbox
I can understand why he gets left out of international line ups tbh. He does some fantastic stuff which ends up coming to nothing because he holds the ball too long. Until he learns to become a team player that potential will never get fulfilled. Easier said than done with how our other players are with their off the ball movement. Fully understand his hesistancy to pass. There is some truth to that, but Marveaux jinked past a couple of players but always managed to release the ball before he got caught. I think Ben Arfa overdoes it. another example in the 2nd half of the game, hba had the ball in our own half, had the option to pass to cabaye who was unmarked and ready to receive, the ball never came because hba decided he wanted to do that tiote macho man bullshit, dabble on the ball twist and turn and lose it. He did it also in lfc's tonking of us which lead to a goal . the boy is so frustrating at times, you want to cut him slack because he has all the ability in the world but he really needs to sort out when he should be doing his fancy dan shit, do it in the oppositions half not your own. I'm glad you saw it as well. Last season Pardew got a lot of credit for getting him to knuckle down which might have been deserved or it might have had nothing to do with Pardew's input. But this season he's looked overweight, unmotivated and generally like he's here to get paid while shooting the breeze. There's a fabulous footballer in there but he really needs a manager that will motivate him and light a fire under his arse.
Rich
He was comfortably our best player until his first injury this season. Agree he has been off form since.
Dave
He wasn't great today but I found it kinda depressing how often he had the ball with his back to goal, in our half or around the halfway line. That's not where you want a player like him, literally serves no use.
TherealnorthernTOON
he was up there quite a few times, and tbf, think he thrives more in a free role then having the responsibility of beeing the one man behind the striker.
