Suspicious of him in no 10 role now, but if he was told to always always drift wide to receive the ball and double up on full backs with the wingers then I think it may work, allowing him to go either side. It's when he gets too crowded out he struggles.

Shouldn't replace Gouffran or Sissoko as both have been immense recently but feel we can still find a place for him. Certainly should be ahead of Cisse in the pecking order.

A manager with sense would put him in for Tiote and put Sissoko CM for games like today.

This is also a good idea.

Tiote was probably our man of the match today. He was everywhere. Your boy Shola wasn't far behind him.

Pardew making a mockery of those who said he's not putting him on because he's the last player to be trusted when we're holding onto a one-goal lead. Whereas Obertan and Cisse, aye. I'm glad at least he got ahead of fucking Obertan today.

Shameful Pardew can't find a place for him in the team, but will no doubt turn to him when our backs are against the fucking wall to win the whole match for us.

Anyways, aside from all that, great to see him back

Tiote had a shocker I thought mind, his passing and shooting were awful.

Did great, wasnt impressed when Sissoko? just pointed at him to take on the defender & stood still. They expect to much of him.

That didn't happen.

that down in the leazes/west stand corner ? sissoko was right if thats the occasion you're thinking of, he kept away leaving ben arfa one on one which was what we should want for him, ben arfa seemed to want sissoko to come in and drag in another defender with him. there was an occasion in the middle when ben arfa was left to it and we did stand still, cant remember sissoko pointing on that occasion though.

Wasn't at the game but from the tv he definitely looked like he'd lost a fair bit of weight? Or was that just me? Really hope he's worked hard in his time out of the team and will come back better for it. Hope he gets longer against West Brom as that will be a harder game.

He was really useful in our penalty area when we were defending for our lives against the mighty Norwich.

Here's an idea, stop placing so much defensive responsibility on him. Don't know why we insist on it, just have him drop off the front man and look to initiate counter attacks.
