Village Idiot
To be frank, Beñat would fetch a pretty penny. Betis reportedly turned down €12m from Wolfsburg this summer. But he's turning down their contract extension offers so Betis' hand might be forced next summer (he'll only have one year left then). His release clause is €20m. Deuce
Surely if people are wanting 4-3-3, complaining about Cabaye being too deep, etc then a midfielder is exactly what we need? Actually that makes a lot of sense, there wouldn't so much a problem with Cabaye playing deep if there was someone ahead of him who can actually create things for the front 3 in this scenario. Also i have seen Benat a few times for Betis this he looks class but he's spanish and a midfielder so you all probably figured that out Does this really shock anyone? Sometimes I picture you as the Architect from 'the Matrix,' sitting in some large control room in a white 3-piece suit watching 50 games simultaneously. Oakie Doke
well I'm currently in the process of compiling a report on Manu Palancar, a defender for Betis B, who I've flown out to watch a few times this season.
Mole_Toonfan
You all act like i watch every league known to man Only watch PL, La Liga and Serie A( Ligue 1 now and again if the game interests me) and when i say a few times that's not even 5 times which is why i can't give a more detailed opinion on him. I'm really not that much of football obsessive and outside the stuff Sky and ESPN show i wouldn't have a clue.

taxfree
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4620313/German-Pezzella-a-target-for-Newcastle.html NEWCASTLE are in a fight with Napoli and Roma for German Pezzella. The Argentinian centre-half, 21, has impressed for River Plate and will cost around £4.5million. Disco, Mole - any good? Seems a bit pricey. He's also not very tall.. Only seen him once and he didn't stand out so can't really judge tbh. River's defence has been poor this season as a whole though. Even if he came (and he won't) he'd take a while to fit in, centre back is probably the last position I'd buy direct from South America for. Would prefer to see us go for Lisandro (Ezequiel) López of Arsenal (not that one) if we were going to buy any from over there, far further on and crying out to take the next step. Mole_Toonfan
I heard about him a year or so ago that is one of the most promising defenders in South America ( mind you i did hear that from a River fan ) I really can't say anything about him though as i have never watched him because i don't really watch South American club football.
