Disco
Would take, if nowt else it'd make someone other than Shola the 3rd choice. Too similar to Cisse to work unless we're 4-5-1'ing it. yeah but it's not like we are going to spend endless cash Where did I say we were? We'd never buy Bent, he's past his best, high wages, English etc.
Ikon
Rather have one that differs from our current ones, a player that can play as a left forward and centrally (pacey one)
LoveItIfWeBeatU
Maybe we should try to loan Guthrie from Reading in January (sarcasm). Guthrie turned down NUFC's contract offer to get games but he isn't getting a game for Reading after rumours of falling out with their manager. As it happens I think he'd have played just about every week for us if he'd stayed what with Cabaye and Tiote never being available at the same time. His move hasn't worked out for him or NUFC. Dave
David Crossan (@davidmcrossan) tweeted at 8:31 AM on Wed, Nov 28, 2012: No original quotes in the #LEquipe piece. They do quote from @lee_ryder writing in the Chronicle and have a focus on the French players. So much for them being a reliable source.

EthiGeordie
Wonder what people would think of Darren Bent became available for, say, 5m. Worth a punt? I would say yes. 29 a bit old but he can get goals for us.
Cronky
Jeremain Lens being linked with us for a £10m transfer on Talksport. By all accounts, he can play out wide and as a striker and has a bit of pace. Sounds like what we need.
Ikon
A player that can play those positions is exactly what we need (CB 1st priority), i'd like Remy/Aubameyang, although the former has had some problems staying fit lately. Considering our position right now we might find it hard to attract them though, and highly unlikely that we'll pay these sort of amounts for a player

Considering our position right now we might find it hard to attract them though I reckon we'd be OK in Jan - still in Europa League and most players/agents from overseas will go on last seasons position. The summer will be a different story though
