tgarve
Let him wear it blank if he's willing to take a pay cut. I it means that much to him he would but he's probably too busy in aspers. Anyone got those pics? Time to start making them do the rounds. Why would you do that? To show the world he's a hypocritical cunt and all we've ever done at this club is be accommodating for every belief and religion going. He's an absolute arsehole to make a big deal out of this and it's simply down to either he wants to move or wants more money. Wouldn't be so bad if he could hit a barn door from 5 yards. Totally agree with this, dont agree with the last part though. Please someone circulate these pictures, fucking hypocritical twat! hes been wearing virgin money all season, he goes to the casino, he drinks! fucking absolute shite
Chrisjraby
Why is he the only Muslim player in the team to comment if they are all supposed to have the same beliefs? Maybe there could be something more to this.
Yorkie
I just think Cisse would put in a transfer request if he wanted to go, rather than go through this nightmare-ish legal/ethical process. What would be the point? If a player wants to leave, he puts in a transfer request (or ask his agent to start pimping him around in the press). I don't know which part of the Islamic ethical code the Wonga deal goes against. What does his gambling have anything to do with anything? How is that exploiting the poor? Unbelievable
New poll added. I wanted to vote option 2, but I do not back him on this, so I went for 3 in the end, although I don't agree with the exit strategy comment. Poll seems a bit loaded to me. Fiftynotout
Has anyone actually seen any quotes from Cisse about this? Isn't Barnes from the PFA just answering a question from a "journalist" about what should happen IF it is an issue? Still think it's just the usual S**t stirring from the usual parties. Bit of wishful thinking there IMO. We've seen what happens when a story comes out that the club dispute.

Deuce
Why is he the only Muslim player in the team to comment if they are all supposed to have the same beliefs? Maybe there could be something more to this. Because, regardless of religion, people of faith have different thresholds.

I wouldn't put banks and Wonga in the same category, certainly not from an ethical point of view.

Anyone got those pics? Time to start making them do the rounds. Why would you do that? To show the world he's a hypocritical c*** and all we've ever done at this club is be accommodating for every belief and religion going. He's an absolute arsehole to make a big deal out of this and it's simply down to either he wants to move or wants more money. Wouldn't be so bad if he could hit a barn door from 5 yards. Because the fans turning on him would be really conducive to his happiness and squad morale... Think your reaction is completely over the top given we know very little. For all we know he could have raised his objections back when the Wonga deal was announced and it has only come out now because the issue has been ignored by the club. He strikes me as the least likely of all our players to use an issue like this to engineer a move. Also, there's clearly a difference between personal gambling and what could be perceived as exploitation of the poor and/or pure theft in the eyes of Muslims. Just think you should try and stick by the player, especially someone like cisse who has shown nothing but adoration for the club-and fans particularly- since he arrived. Disco
Be a canny piece of PR by Wonga/NUFC, if Cisse does have an genuine issue, they let him put his charity on the front of his shirt.
