r0cafella
Was useless again yesterday. Didn't even defend well higher up the pitch or get tight to any spurs players.
Newcastle Fan
Was useless again yesterday. Didn't even defend well higher up the pitch or get tight to any spurs players. He did defend a little to be fair, still far from where we want him to be though.

LRD
It was as if he was inspired with the team's performance that he recovered some confidence to execute that strike. Would have been amazing for him if it went in but it's still a good sign he managed to do so. Thought he did reasonably well with a couple of runs. One where he was marginally ruled offside after a great pass from Cabaye and the other where Spurs' defence were tight on him. Hopefully he is regaining some spring back in his boots. Guest Slippery Sam
Maybe we should pass him the magic captain's armband?
Dr.Spaceman
Maybe we should pass him the magic captain's armband? What an example that would be. AyeDubbleYoo
I knew he was going to hit that volley, he's a dreamer. Just wish it had flown in the top corner for him.
Cajun
The offside was stupid, the defender had no chance because of Cabaye's amazing ball so there was no need for him to be caught off. That said the volley was pretty well taken and he worked hard to cut out one of their breaks. Mixed bag.

Ronaldo
He'll never replicate what he was from February to May 2012 but there's a good solid 1 in 2 poacher in there somewhere.
