Pilko
Expert use of "putting the hex on" from the commentator. 'Martin O'Neill hasn't won in 11 games, his worst as a PL manager. Could that be about to change?'

Ryan
Love you Kev! Would have been better if it was at the other end though infront of their fans
Cajun
Did he say something like he got over excited because It's Sunderland?
Benwell Lad
12 games without a win did Bruce ever go that long ? His teams tried to play football and go for a win too. Just as well O'Faill hasn't got any tenuous Newcastle connections or they'd be hounding him out by now.

leffe186
Brummie must be smug. He's been telling it like it is from day one If Brummie's feeling anything right now, I'm betting it's not smug .
Mole_Toonfan
I have to question would Bruce do any worse, especially when you consider O'Neill has a better calibre of player than Bruce had.
ponsaelius
Their win percentages in league games: MoN = 31% Bruce = 28% points per game: Bruce = 1.14 MoN = 1.31 Improvement made, but not as considerable as mackems would have you think. I'd also question whether their style of play has improved at all.
Pav
Lets not forget they had 'nothing to play for' at the end of last season, otherwise they'd have picked up a lot more points.
Ameritoon
Nolan tried to recreate the opener in the 5-1 there Was almost a carbon copy, still bitter that it didn't go in, but a last second goal is funny enough.
Dokko
Like someone said, penny is starting to drop. Think they'll do it next game mind, quite easily. Wigan will try to play football, get exposed early on the counter attack, get robbed, then they'll sit back and protect their lead for the rest of the match. I know this is what they attempt every game, but think this one it will work unfortunately. If not the meltdown will be too much to take.
Wilson
just been trying to tell me mackum mate marra it doesn't take a genius to figure out artie's tactic. I got 'at least we're unbeaten' and 'neebother sir bobby wilson'
Sima
Thing is though if they don't beat Wigan on Saturday then lose to Man City, Artie will be under massive pressure going into the derby game. And if we win.......

And if we win....... Would it be more fun to beat them off the back of two good results when their hopes are up and overconfidence is blooming or to grind their faces further into the dust after losing to Wigan and City? I think the latter for me
gdm
http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showpost.php?p=13488118&postcount=804 they are a bunch of idiots. in that thread alone they reckon they are above 'the mags' - nope if they had held out and won they would have been above Newcastle with a game in hand - nope and some guy reckons bets count only in 90mins with goals scored in injury time not counting. I don't think it would be the end of MO'N as such, but the party would be over anyway.
