trains gunna be a nightmare this year with them charging a fiver

nightmare for police that we arent in the south stand anymore. be interesting to see what they do

can't see many peaple getting the buses when you have to pay,  the trains wil be chocker.  i reckon we will be escorted from st peters as normal with the barriers up and then they will take us round the side of the car park almost along the river to get us round to the other end of the ground.

5-1 was just like a massive fuck off to that lot, after taking the piss for a year when we were down, self proclaiming themselves 'top dogs' etc. Villa 6-0 too. Not for atmosphere or that just like a big fuck off you horrible cunts after the way they went on when we went down.

some of the bitterness on the smb in thier thread for our match last night is ridiculous.

the number of threads, easily a few every day discussing the policing, travel of toon fans to derby, and all other derby stuff leads me to believe the biggest thing that ever happens in thier lives is the visit of Newcastle to Sunderland.

In regards to the 5-1 I remember watching it in bed, much the same as the Villa smacking earlier in the season. Both were completely surreal, couldn't even believe it. When Jonas drew the penalty all my nerves went away, I realized then how huge this was, when Shola attempted that scissor kick I had no doubts it was going in, everything was going our way. Smiled for the rest of the day, what a moment, wish I could've been there.

The 6-0 was mental, i was heading back to Sheffield straight after the game, and in the car i was just like "wait, did that just happen? Andy Carroll hat trick?..." My brain just couldnt compute it!

So how many more goals than the entire playing staff of Sunderland, throughout their entire history, has Shola Ameobi scored in European competition now ?

I would very much like this stat as well.

Think its 13 - 5 to the Big Sho

at the current rate it will take over 100 years for SAFC to catch Shola

....and in the same year Shola's great grandson will score a last minute winner which condemns the macums to relegation........

Love how they reckon we're only on Sky more than them as the bloke who runs Sky is a Mag, completely ignoring the fact that Newcastle fan Vic Wakeling retired years ago and nobody wants to watch that shower of shit!

Nevermind Shola, Titus Bramble and Andy Griffin have as many Euro goals as Sunderland.

Don't Bramble's goals get transferred over like medals?

go and ask on smb, they will say yes, and all thier other previous players,- they will tell you they have a better record in Europe than us.

As the megabus meandered through leafy Grangetown yesterday, I noticed a sign indicating to turn left for the "Reg Vardy Gallery" and a bit further on, a sign indicating straight ahead to the "Murray Library"

So there's two amenities which have been emblazoned with Sunderland "celebs/businessmen".

Why no "Wearside Jack museum"?

There is, but when you put the postcode into the sat-nav, you get to the destination only to find a derelict house in Pennywell. Then the sat-nav voice pipes up "I see you are still having no luck finding me..."
