So how the fuck does that lead to Newcastle regularly playing in front of 52K sellout crowds, all of whom have paid for attending, while down at the Pink Park they struggle to hit 40K gates despite dozens of schemes to give away or sell cheap tickets to pad the place out, just stopping short of press ganging people into attendance, and have the highest number of empty seats per match in the league.
