Think it's ridiculous timing, personally. Unless they've got someone lined up it could easily seal their fate.

Wish I could find that thread on RTG after he took charge, about if they would stay humble, unlike the Mags were, and not gloat about their champions league success or whatever. Important to keep your feet on the ground.

It's absolutely bizarre. The free agents are all pish, or they fanny around paying someone off good - which is unlikely at this stage imo.

Really mental decision. They're rubbish but I think they'd have probably stayed up - certainly can't see how promoting Ball, or getting in someone like Hughes is gonna leave them with any more chance of survival.

Have to assume they've got someone lined up?

Imagine that. I'd love for them to hire him, stay up, label him the new Mackemsiah and then to be in the same position in 12 months if not worse.

Kevin Ball ah the memorys, wor lass worked in Dixon Sports in the Metro Centre years and years ago and he came in to buy his kids some trainers... he gave her all this "Do you know who i am" crap and she said no idea.

He said I'm Kevin Ball i play for Sunderland, she said my boyfriend says Sunderland are crap. He wasn't best pleased and went off to be served by someone else.

Pointless post i know but she did meet David Ginola and got me a signed Nike top off him while she worked there, reckoned he was sexy as fuck as well....bitch :)
