Ste
How do you misquote "I am a fascist, not a racist." And if you were misquoted as saying that, you would kick up a much bigger stink than he did, as far as he know he said nothing further about that interview. Scoreboard82
So safc have appointed Di Canio and an Italian back room team? The lengths that club will go to just to say they've got a mackem who has possibly been to Milan.

Incognito
So has he admitted that despite all of the bad press, and despite all of the horror they've subjected the world and it's inhabitants, that he is actually a Mackem ?
cp40
So has he admitted that despite all of the bad press, and despite all of the horror they've subjected the world and it's inhabitants, that he is actually a Mackem ? Aye it was all a big mistake caused by that Listhping Chav outside thier stadium when he heard he was the fastest in training.
Darth Crooks
I think most memebers of RTG are dissappointed with the appointment...In that he isn't right wing enough. They'd sooner dig up Hess and be convinced that he'd do better than MO'N.
Thespence
If I was a recruiter for any far right group I would go to RTG now as it would be easy to pick up a few nuggets. Is mackemlogic no longer on twitter? If no, why did that person give it up. IIRC some mackems found out his personal details and posted them online. Crikey! afar
Can't admit to following his managerial progress too closely but the BBC seem to think the Mackems could have found their savior, very glowing commentary here, tough discipline hard worker, double training sessions. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22018360

Definitely a leftfield (or far-right field ) appointment which is preferable to the names most on here would have hoped Sunderland would go far when O'Neil was sacked. Always liable to blow up though, definitely not an appointment for seekers of stability. Curious to see how he gets on, if only to see if my outlandish claim that I would take him here is at all justifiable .

Benwell Lad
So then. I was a fascist and did loads of fascist stuff, but it's become a bit of an inconvenience recently, so for now I'm going to pretend I'm not a fascist. Err...is that ok for now ? Thomson Mouse
“I am not political, I do not affiliate myself to any organisation, I am not a racist and I do not support the ideology of fascism. I respect everyone. Far too carefully worded. You can just imagine the conversation, Mackem woman from press conference: c'mon, just say you're not a fascist. PDC: No, Paulo's friends are fascist, the values Paulo's parents gave him are fascist, Paulo has that ludicrous tattoo and Paulo has been photographed numerous times being fascist. It's Paulo's way or the highway marra. Mackem woman from press conference: can we not just put in some waffle about ideology and support, it won't actually SAY you AREN'T a fascist. PDC: Paulo says yes.

Guest Roger Kint
http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=771785 Mag in an airport 'It's one of the reasons I despise flying from newcastle (sunderland) airport, theres always one of the kernts on the flight who is 40 years old and in a full kit, when you get off the plane you pray that he isn't in the same resort as you so you don't ever have to see him again until the flight home where he'll probably be wearing the same clothes, then the kernt is in the same resort as you and you've got to hope for the love of God that he isn't in your hotel, turns out he is and every morning you see him at breakfast in the same top and shorts weighing about 40 clem letting everyone know that he is a geordie and he hates mackems. To cut the rest of the story short, don't fly from newcastle (sunderland) airport if you can help it.' ironically the only time i ever saw this was a bloke in his 40's and two sons about 10/11 all in full kits on a flight to Mexico.......oh and they were mackems
