Where was this Simpson when he had no competition for his place and had a contract that wasn't just about to be up? He has always performed close to what he is capable of, but unfortunately that's too low a standard these days. Wonder if Spurs will replace Ekotto with Rose or if the mackems will get him in the summer? But it was only him and Krul who gave a good account of themselves today imo.
