A couple of his second half blunders would give me reservations about playing him too often in the Premier League. All well and good when mistakes go unpunished but if those mistakes cost us 3 points it may hamper his development. Pards seems to have the right approach when bringing youth through so I'm sure he will be handled appropriately.

Looks a canny player and a shrewd acquisition.

My only criticism, which is something that can be improved with experience is that he lacks composure on the ball so doesn't think through his passes. So a few instances he had time but mishit a pass or chose the wrong option. few passes to no one going out for throw ins too.

But this is something that will improve. Otherwise I am impressed.

It's nice though, we have three 1st team players in

Tioté Anita

Cabaye

..with similar players as young backup in

Bigi Abeid

  Vuckic

And then Gosling who's terrible. And Vuckic is perhaps not that similar to Cabaye. But that is a nice midfield trio to play in less meaningful games.
