Beardsley, you joking?

He knows the club very well, He was an extraordinary attacking player. Is he still in charge of the reserve team ?

He has absolutely no managerial credentials at all. The only thong he has in his favour is that he's a local bloke and he's in Ashley's pocket.

Ok, forget my suggestion then

What's the point in the 8 year contract then?

I bet the 8 year contract only applies if the FA come calling so it will cover the (ridiculous) possibility of England coming for Partridge should Woy jack in

Before you piss yourself laughing at this thought, think of how many Englishmen will be above Partridge in the pecking order for the job, especially as the FA dont seem to want Harry.

The staggering fact is that Partridge is still the second highest placed English manager in the Premier League after fat Hippo Heed Allardyce.

Mike Ashley is a fat "forward thinking" bastard.  :cheesy:

Makes me laugh when last year the press were going on about Pardew for England,

He even said he would fancy it one day hahaha

yeah you keep them coming Pardew.

If Steve McLaren can get the gig there's hope for anyone.

ALAN PARDEW NEEDS TO SORT OUT PLAYER WAR BEFORE NEWCASLTE BLOW UP WARNS MALCOLM MACDONALD

Macdonald said: “I’m just telling it as I see it and it’s like a slow-motion car crash before my eyes.

“There’s no communication on the pitch. Players aren’t looking out for each other. There’s no team spirit.

“Okay, people who disagree will say Newcastle played well against Man City. Yes, they did and got beaten 3-1.

“You can play all the best football you want and still get relegated. If Newcastle don’t snap themselves out of this dreadful situation my worry is that they will get relegated.

“They must put arguments aside and go about the job in a professional way. Put the club and the supporters first and not their squabbles.

“Newcastle have Man United, Arsenal and Everton coming up – three of the top six. If they don’t buck up their ideas by the time January comes around they’ll be looking to bring in players.

“But they are not going to get the quality they need because players will look at the league table and say, ‘I’m not joining you, you’re going down’.

It’s like a disease eating away at the club and it’s spreading like wildfire.

“It’s a nightmare. Excuses are being made without people pin-pointing what’s really gone wrong.

It seems to me as if there’s a battle going on between the French and Spanish - speaking players.

“I’m seeing things on the pitch which don’t add up. I saw Gutierrez come in from wide left into centre midfield  and stand by Cabaye as if he was man-to-man marking.

Cabaye gestured to get back to the left and Gutierrez ignored him. So Cabaye just shrugged his shoulders and went out to play on the left.

“That was the first indication that something was seriously wrong.

“I’m just seeing people not getting on.

“You don’t have to like each other. But you go out on that pitch and treat everyone the same.

“When you have a dressing room situation, the first things to suffer are results and performances. And Newcastle’s have been dreadful.

“One or two players are looking around thinking, ‘What the hell is going on?’

“Ben Arfa looks like he’s getting sick and tired of it all. He’s not joining either camp but is obviously upset with the situation.

“The divide is complicated but it’s cutting the cake into slices. It’s totally damaging.

“The manager has got to sit down with the players and get it sorted. But he’s got one hell of a situation on his hands.

“How do you mend it? You need people wanting to work together. Just one look at the table tells you how serious it is. It’s there for all to see.”

Some interesting stuff , am I putting that on the wrong topic ?  ???

Some interesting stuff , am I putting that on the wrong topic ?  ???

hmm there's only two native spanish speakers in our first team,

but did notice, Jonas getting faustrated last game, when he was waving his arms about asking for more support, thought there some aggro between Santon and Jonas but thats between italian and spanish.

What a clown SuperMac is. Literally couldn't give a fuck how many goals he scored for us, my only memory of him is being a drunken half wit so as far as I'm concerned the man is a cunt.

Ditto.

He's not seeing anything that we can't see. He's not in any special position, he's just basing this on watching matches and I think he's talking bollicks.

He was a brilliant player for us, for that reason I have time for him.

Is there any reason to believe the Supermac is doing anything other than pressing his nose up against the window here, as opposed to commenting based on genuine insider knowledge? There has been confusion on the pitch at times but to extrapolate from that that there is a schism between different nationalities would be a bit much if he didn't have some other info.

As good a place as any to ask: who here lives in London?

bit unfair for people to focus on his drinking- if its believed he drank to self medicate the pain in his knee from footballing injury- once hed been operated - paid for by the players union? he gave up the drink. hadnt thought about what hes said- but Im certain ive picked on a vibe of disharmony- and thought it was down to Ba.

Ridiculous post.  He's entitled to his view and is one of our greatest ever players.  He's totally wrong on this occasion though.

We are all entitled to our view but ours are on here not in a national newspaper.

3 DM + Jonas at home against QPR summarize the bloke.

I go back to it, but they had Taarabt, Faurlin & Granero in there. Forget the fact they're 19th or whatever, they're 3 bloody good players. They never had a sniff all match apart from one moment where Taarabt skinned all three and played in Cisse.
