Dave
Very early days but so far Everton look a better bet than us for best of the rest IMO. Really impressive. Even so, I hope the moneybags clubs don't decimate their first team in January.
Guest
Not much change today, only Sunderland have gained a point, West Ham dropped two, Southampton gained 2, and Villa dropped a point, other than that, it was as you were in last season's fixtures give or take a goal in the goal difference column. jdckelly
general question but is it just me or have most of the top 7 sides from last season just not looked right so far this season? Neither Manchester has overly impressed, Spurs are finding their feet under AVB we've been far from convincing Chelseas been a mixed bag, only Arsenal and Everton who seemed to have gotten off to a real good start performance wise

Guest
Everton gain 2 points (drew with Rovers last season at home), we drop 2 points (beat Bolton away last season). Given that we beat Man Utd last season and Everton only got a draw at Wigan, we could see us drop to 7th in this next week. We were always going to find it hard to keep up early on in this, given that in our first 8 fixtures this season, we got 19 from 24 points in them last year. EDIT: No change after the QPR v West Ham game. (Wolves also won 2-1 at QPR last season). Rolling League table after today. Guest
Not looking good so far, last season we got 16 out of 21 points from these 7 fixtures compared to 9 this year. Next 5 games we only picked up 5 points so chance to claw some back, in comparison Everton got 10 out of 15 in their next 5. Rolling League table after today. SEMTEX
Tottenham's win against Man Utd last week got them back on track, and Liverpool's victory away to Norwich was a boost. However, they screwed that up with a home draw against Stoke. We failed to get our required point at home to Man Utd, but Arsenal are pushing on strong, showing their standard Arsenal ability to not challenge for the title, but make sure they get that 4th spot. Taylor Swift
A win today gets us back to -1, which would make the start of the season decent considering the amount of injuries we've had. We just need to win today and we'll be on track.

Guest
We only managed to defend 10 of the 19 points we got against the same opposition last season. Guest
Back up to 7th after Fulham drop 2 of last season's points. Can regain 6th spot if Liverpool hold their points against Everton and we win.
