There's every chance we'll see a panic buy now, like. Someone we haven't been linked with so far. There is no way they will not buy a £5m+ striker.

QPR can afford it. They're the club version of most young players now. More money than sense without it ever causing a problem for them.

The thing is I don't think they can afford it and if they don't stay up and then push on they'll be fucked, especially if they actually are offering players get out clauses.

Would like to see a strong effort for Aubamayeng now but that's wishful thinking, as said before it will take another series of protracted negotiations.

 

He may have gone for money but we were all chuffed a few hours ago. Hindsight had altered that but the fact is we've missed out on our number one target in farcical terms.
