Mike
That Mexico top is horrifying. From a national team that consistently has one of the best kits. Fortunately we won't see it for too long. Aaaaaand the jinx is complete.

nufcjb
this is the most stupid crazy idea FIFA has come up with..ever!!! I'm really surprised that the top nations haven't objected to this..they could have easily said NO to to their kit suppliers, and kit suppliers would have told FIFA to f*** off..but that ain't the case is it? Who do they have working at FIFA? Has Kinnear found a job on a consultancy basis? FIFA try to make footballers look like NBA stars..how long before they say no stripes or hoops on shirts? *hope we continue with black shorts and socks if ever this stupid ruling is implemented in the Premiership.. Flip
I'm questioning whether it really is true, as you see Colombia and Mexico aren't doing it like that and the reason seems a bit too foolish. I think it probably has more to do with Adidas than anything else. Or the national federations accepted doing it their way.
Flip
Oh and from all of those the only one really looking stupid is the all red Spain.
RodneyCisse
Haven't Columbia always worn navy shorts? White could be a compromise instead of a Yellow mess.
LRD
http://www.footballshirtculture.com/images/Sweden2014Leaked1.jpg Crap photoshopping but the match fixture details on the shirt look real enough. Guess we'll find out in a few days.

Can't make out the faint details on the front though.

Oakie Doke
I'm glad you brought that up. It's not actually part of the shirt. "Todo sobre camisetas" rougly translates to "All about t-shirts" in Spanish, whilst the .com that follows suggests it's the name of a website, probably the one that first revealed the kit. These websites like to brand their name over the image to promote their site, which is known in the business as a "watermark".

Kanji
Apparently INGURRRLURRRND are getting a new kit for the World Cup, despite only just getting that Nike one? Assumed everyone gets new kits for World Cup, companies don't care about consumers - only new products = more sales. :-/ Hopefully it wont look exactly like my USA Centenary kit. Although, I'm just not sure what differences one can make when white and blue are the main colors of the home kit and they have to be 1 color. One of the home and away would be kept while a new version of the other would be released just before.
Kanji
I bet, overall, the World Cup kits for every nation will have to stick those guidelines (minus Brazil) but they'll have alternate shorts/socks that stick to the traditional colors for post cup or pre cup friendlies? WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Against Argentina in 1998 England actually opted to play in all white, pointing to the fact we wore all white against them in the '66 quarter final as some sort of good luck charm. I remember that.
Guest Haris Vuckic
I don't think it was 'good luck' that got us through that quarter final.
LRD
If your luck is in, it can work an absolute treat. Reminds me of Gullit wanting white shorts/socks as they are 'lucky'.
Kanji
I'd like to see England get a collar on the kit, always felt English national team kits looked better with a collar... USA's will probably never have one, shame.
