Deuce
Buzzing for us to get the template for that Dortmund top. No doubt we'll have ours in white, light blue and navy blue, akin to a Henri Lloyd polo top circa 2002. Yeah we'll get an atrocious combination of colors for sure. nufcjb
Could try get the 95-96 hooped maroon-blue combination going with that Dortmund template.
Astroblack
How many times have we done that combo? Just the two? 95/96 and 06/07? We should do it more.
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
How many times have we done that combo? Just the two? 95/96 and 06/07? We should do it more. Aye, it'd be good if we settled on some traditional away colours. Arsenal's yellow and blue and WBA's yellow and green spring to mind. Man City have done red and black a few times as well, haven't they?

Geordie_once_removed
Ever since we got Wonga as a sponsor I actually want our kits to be ugly as sin as it makes me not owning one easier. My birthday is in September so it always used to be an easy present for me, I've got every kit from 1995/6 until they abruptly stop with the Wonga sponsorship. GavMcEl
I don't get what this trend is about sticking gold trim on the kits... I know liverpool used to do it back in the 80s or what not, now you have fucking us,Swansea , the mackems, Spurs have a stuck a gold trim on the jerseys in recent years ? Like what the fuck ! Fuck off
SEMTEX
It's almost as if gold is just a colour.
mickthemagpie
Miss the derby days when we'd play in a juve style white shorts and socks with our black and white shirt at Sunderland and then they'd do similar at St James Park. Actually overall wish we'd always look to wear white or black shorts away from home if it allowed us to wear the home shirt. Thinking about this the last day actually used to love us wearing white shorts and socks... I can't f***ing stand this wearing the "change kit"/ third kit for no reason, like on Saturday for example boils my p*ss Well as you know the reason is money. Apparently there are contractual arrangements that require the away kit to be worn a certain number of times per season to promote sales. Surprised nobody has come up with the blindingly obvious solution that's taken years to spring into my head, an alternative kit for away games based on the home kit. Surely even Puma cant cock up two black and white striped designs in one seeson.
Stifler
To be fair to the manufacturers they sometimes got fucked over by some clubs who never needed to use their away kits. I remember one year we had a sliver shirt that we used once in pre-season friendly. It's ok if the teams homes kit is red or blue, your pretty much getting half a season or so of away shirts being used, but when your black and white stripes you can often go all season without needing to use an away kit. On the other hand you have manufacturers taking the piss with 3rd kits, why you would need a 3rd kit is beyond me, it's just a money making exercise. In all honesty I'd rather have Newcastle play in black and white stripes whenever possible.
Kanj
SO lets not be fair to the manufacturer's then.
Kanj
Sunderland are small time club to Adidas, they don't get the stripes down the side of the body like the top tier clubs get. Kernts.

Kanj
Man Utd away is pure trash. Real, Bayern, Chelsea, Lyon, Ajax (Home) are lush. Really like the adidas stripes down the side of the body as a change-up.
