Froggy
Zarate is another one who impressed at Wigan and was being labelled as the next big thing, wasn't he? Played for Birmingham not Wigan. Floundering at Lazio last time I looked. Aye just had a quick look at his wiki. 20m Euros he went to Lazio for.
ponsaelius
Kone is hardly an unknown tbf.... played for PSV, Sevilla, Hannover and scored 15 times for Levante last season as well as 38 caps for Ivory Coast. Its more a surprise he hasn't been picked up before Wigan signed him, wouldn't put it down to scouting too much. Fair enough didnt know this but I'm sure you agree that Wigan has always found some fantastic players on the cheap who were later sold for a lot of money. Roudrigez and Fegarouwa (spelling ?) are looking good too.
SLK
The commentator just mentioned Kone is 35. Wow he has done ok for such an age. He must have been really good when he was younger.
ponsaelius
He is definitely not 35.

leffe186
I know this isn't really the forum to say so, but I'm quite looking forward to just enjoying today's games without caring in the slightest about the results.

midds
Mackems name 5 defenders and a keeper on the bench. And Vaughn.
S.S.R.
I know it's not exactly far from them, but fair play to amount of Wigan fans that showed up to a game on council telly.
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Mackems name 5 defenders and a keeper on the bench. And Vaughn. some of them were getting pissed off, and rightly so, on Total Sport last night that the party animal doesn't even bother chucking a kid on the bench to take it up to 7. leffe186
Mackems are going to let QPR win aren't they. If they do, then they're really in the shit. Fail to win against Norwich, and they could easily lose the next four.
