Dinho lad
Carlos Alberto, integral part of José Mourinho's Champions League winning Porto. http://paginas.fe.up.pt/~lpreis/_40201475_alberto_getty300.jpg He looked a really good player. Completely wasted talent.

Andymc1
Diego Placente was a top full back in his Leverkusen days. Pretty sure he played at SJP when Shearer got a hat trick.
Disco
Diego Placente was a top full back in his Leverkusen days. Pretty sure he played at SJP when Shearer got a hat trick. Still playing believe it or not. In my head he was old when he was at Leverkusen. Probably the gash haircut that himself, Arruabarrena and Pocchetino all sported back in the day. colinmk
Andy Todd Heard this from a lad who knew him in his Bolton days, apparently he gave Phil Brown a hiding after training one day as PB had been winding him up. Dunno if true, just hope it did happen, especially as the tale ended with the orange fella cowering in a bog cubicle bricking it. Back to the randoms.. http://www.yaoheng.info/autos/Holland/PSV/Vampeta.jpg Vampeta - remember him playing against us for PSV at Landsdowne Rd, pre season tourney 97/98(?), possibly alongside Jaap Stam. Part of the Brazil WC 2002 squad. A quick google reveals, well, a bit too much tbh, don't do it. http://www.poteaux-carres.com/images/site/pani_2010_18.jpg Lubo Moravcik - too good for that pretendy league. Once saw him trap a ball that had come down with snow on it by turning his back and crouching so he almost sat on it. Great player when he felt like it. Moravcik was a brilliant player. Was also a fan of Didier Agathe. http://www.lostbhoys.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/didier_agathe.jpg Quality attacking wing-back, seems he has set up a young-players academy on his island of reunion. TaylorJ_01
Marcelinho Paraiba http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JiIF463DdsQ/UMpbXxMZ1oI/AAAAAAAAHWg/LZAguLy_NsM/s1600/Marcelinho.jpg Best known for being the one of the best players in Pro Evo 5, Marcelinho is a Brazilian attacker who has played for nearly every Brazilian club in the history of football. An epic 4 seasons at Herta BSC put this footballer on the map - his passing, technique and questionable appearance firmly placing him as a fan favourite. We all miss Pro Evo 5. Or was it 4? There will never be another Marcelinho Paraiba.

That surprises me aswell, always thought he was getting towards the end of his career when Leverkusen had their good CL run. Thought he was a quality player at the time as I did for a lot of that side, mainly Basturk, Schneider and obviously Ballack.

Hanshithispantz
Yogi Lackomundi http://sport.news.am/static/news/b/2012/09/11824.jpg Despite being a Spartak Moscow fan, Lackomundi debuted 1997 for Moscow rivals Lokomotiv, where he played during three years before moving to Spartak where he affectionately became known as "The Russian Ron Jeremy" for his deceptive stamina, in five years he won three Russian leagues and two cups, and was also elected Russian player of the year in 2002. He won a transfer to Serie A side AS Roma, played 21 matches in the first season, but after only seven matches played, he moved to AC Perugia in December 2004. His stint in Italy overall proved to be unsuccessful and he was eventually considered to be one of Italian football's biggest foreign flops.
