It would be criminal now if they fluke an escape. Imagine the wankfest they will have and all the superlatives s*** they will come up with if they escape.

looking at the fixtures- they could be 7-10 points adrift in a couple of weeks.

Aye that's the only thing keeping them headed for the drop. If the fixture list was in the opposite order, I could see them getting a few results to put pressure on the dross around them. It's a bit like Wigan last year who just couldn't make up the ground despite having the games in hand.

I am taking more interest in their imminent demise than focusing on us. Quite sad really.

What other choice do you have? May as well get some enjoyment out of this aids riddled season.

Just had a proper look at what they're looking at in the summer - they have 6 first teamers/rotation options out of contract and 6 on loan.

In theory, as of this moment that's 12 players gone at the end of the season for no money  Holy f***ing s***. Who allowed that to happen?

It's worse than 'for no money'.  The out of contract players will get loyalty bonuses for seeing their contracts out, often estimated at around about a years wages.

Even better!

Again, how the hell did they allow things to get this bad? Even if they somehow stay up they're utterly and completely fucked unless Short opens his cheque book again.

I'm actually surprised they are sticking by Poyet, thought Short would have looked for a managerial bounce in sheer hope. I thought the pressure was taking it’s toll on Poyet when he rested players for the cup game at Hull, just seemed crazy, especially when he never backed it up with a result in the league. Then his team selection last night was pathetic for a 6 pointer, he's crumbled under the pressure and sending them down, like many predicted that cup run would do. At least Hendo went to Wembo to see the marras though.

Hardest day at work in a very long time. Im just telling people to fuck off at the moment. Told the biggest wanker in the factory that most people would be happy if he was dead !

Good to see they are taking it well.

Reminds me of a quote after the 5-1 where one of the posters said he wanted to punch his own kids in the throat he was so annoyed

What about the guy who said he runs over magpies?

It was all a bit of a laugh when we went down and they did the road signs, but now they look like they are going down they can't take office banter.

I'm going to get some sandpaper out and sand something. The cats had better keep out of my way.

Feeling down?  Have an intimate relationship with a close family member?  Live in Sunderland?

Sandpaper a cat and watch life's troubles melt away.
