taxfree
West Ham edging us regarding Austin, while we're showing interest in Diafra Sakho. Cool.

Unbelievable
Linked with a host of Championship players at 10m a pop, which seems to be the going rate nowadays for a good player at that level. Unless Ashley starts to realise that fees have doubled as TV money has increased we don't stand a chance and will only get weaker relative to our competition. Unless Ashley starts to realise that fees have doubled as TV money has increased we don't stand a chance and will only get weaker relative to our competition. I think this is inevitable either way. The squad needs so much that I can't see how we realistically close that gap, especially to our "top 8" ambitions. I don't think we'll be as bad in the coming season now that Carver has gone but we've been so poor in so many transfer windows that teams above us just need to address one or two weak areas and can do so with their new TV money. We need to address of 5 or 6 positions and do so without TV money.

We have suffered from such under-investment that you would be looking at the best part of 100m now to get us competing for Europe.
BONTEMPI
25 million is a bloody joke. Time to call Ashley's bluff and just don't renew. You're mad if you do.

Village Idiot
I don't rate Bas Dost at all. Dost ticks all the boxes for United – he has been well-scouted by Graham Carr, will be available for under £10million and has informed his representatives that he would be keen on a move to England. Mystery solved. Always going to the bargain bin.
NUFC_Chris
He looks decent & very aggressive. I'm not going to whinge about it if we sign him.

Unbelievable
Bas Dost is such a non-typical signing for us. His stock has never been higher and never will be as high again.
Andy84
Don't know much about him but to the people who do, is he capable of 20 PL goals? Or is he likely to be a Riviere
Deckard 13
Maybe were gonna buy him and two ace wingers! Or well just hoof it at his head from half way line free kicks.
Guest Roger Kint
Genuinely annoying how all of the other teams are investing and moving forward. Wish we got a slice of the tv money everyone else did. c***s. Indeed, ir if only we had say....£35 million sitting in the bank we could use. Except we have up to double that in the bank

Disco
He would need an equivalent of Kevin De Bruyne to put them on a plate for him, and I can't see that here tbh Thankfully Sammy Ameobi is the second coming of Johan Cruyff and Colback that of Pirlo so this won't be an issue. TRon
Troy Deeney for £10m sounds like a piss take but in reality there's probably more chance of him succeeding in the premier than Riviere. Ings and Austin both made the step up from the Championship so who knows, maybe Deeney will as well. All very underwhelming, but you don't get proven strikers without starting at £20m.
