B-more Mag
It's rather vague regarding the stadium ban and whether it extends to his club and/or training grounds. Would be immense if he isn't even allowed to train with Liverpool. "banned from taking part in any kind of football-related activity (administrative, sports or any other) for a period of four (4) months"

Shush
Time to head over to RAWK and see if every Suarez thread is still locked since apparently that bite never affected LFC. They are going nuts... "Jesus fucking christ..." "thats fucking bullshit" "Unfair. Totally unfair. Poor luis." "It'll be reduced on appeal. Has to be. LFC won't stand for it. Still shocking though." Guest Roger Kint
Meh it's a decent ban in all honesty, not really sure what else they can do save ripping up his license. They couldnt exactly have him just missing about 6 Copa America qualifiers, hows that a punishment? They clearly have taken his previous and the fact he refuses to admit he did anything wrong into account. Thankfully he can only appeal the fine

Deuce
It's not the arrogance that's bad, they should believe they can win tbh. It's the fact that "I believe that we can win" is, with no competition, the worst chant ever conceived. True, but it demonstrates something. English people are far too self-conscious to really believe they can upset the odds. a) the chant is a direct Landon quote, off the back of Klinsmann saying they can't win the World Cup. It's not great but at least it has some background b) their so called second to none levels of arrogance is aka confidence/belief, and it's an absolutely massive reason why the still have a great chance of qualifying for the next round, despite being in a very difficult group. England will continue achieving absolutely fuck all while they persist with their delightfully charming crippling self-consciousness.

Robbo
State of this man - http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/world-cup-2014/world-cup-2014-ghana-squad-3764299 The President of Ghana Football Association has been accused of fixing future matches, with the government sending a plane to ensure the players continue A plane carrying $3MILLION in cash has been sent to the Ghana World Cup team to prevent a player revolt. According to a joint investigation by the Guardian and Channel 4 programme Dispatches, the president of the Ghana Football Association Kwesi Nyantaki had agreed to fix future international matches. Police were subsequently asked to investigate, which led to calls of a revolt among Kwesi Appiah's squad, who have just one point from their World Cup matches to date. According to Bloomberg, Deputy Sports Minister Joseph Yammin told Citi FM: "The players insisted that they will want physical cash. "The government had to mobilise the money and a chartered flight to Brazil. The money is in excess of $3million." Appiah, whose side face Portugal on Thursday needing a combination of results to qualify for the last 16, said the cash was on its way to the Brazilian capital by plane. "There are some issues concerning money and the management and the government of the country are trying to sort it out and hopefully everything will be sorted out in 2-3 hours' time," he told reporters. "FIFA pays all these fees after the competition," Appiah explained. "The government of the nation has to find money to pay and then get it back from FIFA. Once there is a delay then the problems come." Midfielder Christian Atsu dismissed concerns the players would boycott the Portugal match if the money didn't arrive. "This game is very important for our nation and we have to put everything behind us," the left winger said. "It would be bad if we lost the game, people would think it because of the money. We have no option but to make our nation proud." The president of Ghana John Dramani Mahama is said to have guaranteed the money will be paid before tomorrow's must-win clash with Portugal in Recife. The GFA said: "President Mahama waded into the matter after agitation from the Black Stars players. "He personally spoke to the players to assure them the money will be paid by Wednesday afternoon. "We wish to assure the general public following President Mahama's intervention the Black Stars are in high spirits ahead of Thursday's match last Group G match against Portugal." Despite the payment, the association denied the report and insist those mentioned never made any bribe to them or Nyantaki. The Black Stars lost their opener to USA before a thrilling 2-2 draw with Germany on Saturday and now must beat Portugal tomorrow to have any chance of progressing.
