I may have missed it, but has pardew ever taken the blame for a bad performance or admitted making a mistake. never even a "I'm the manager, so the buck stops with me".

even fergie and mourinho have more humility and self-awareness than this bloke.

Spurs 5-0.

That was also our attempt for letting our hair down.

Why would he need to do that? It's only happened one or two times this season, he said so himself.

he managed to quote the 46 points again today, the f***er.

No club has ever been on 46 points and got anymore, everyone knows this man Huss. "Wise up"

we should just break out in spontaneous applause at the 46 minute mark in every match for the rest of the season to show our appreciation.

That's usually when Pardew's deciding to swap his left backs.

Was he f***ing smirking in that interview?

Don't think I've ever seen him not smirking in an interview, no matter what has happened in the game or what disgraceful act he has committed

That smug sense of superiority convinces many neutrals, unfortunately. It's part of his act.

It's no surprise when you go on other clubs' forums and they hate him though.

Of course Pardew is sackable surely it's just a matter of when.

I've always wondered what were the exact reasons he brought this turd in, in place of CH.  Hughton was a yes man same as Pardew is now.  What were those magic words that were uttered from the mouth of Pardturd in the dark dingy corner of the casino, that made Ashley believe Pardew were a much better 'yes man'?

Were they the premise of:

"Mike I will provide you with real front foot, exciting brand of football."

"Same budget afforded to Chris, I could push the same team up towards top 8 top 6 even"

First full season he has succeeded in his promise, although some may argue over the brand of football being played.  The excitement of the results could not be denied.

Second season a complete failure.

Third season looking more like a fail than anything else but we are not that far off 8th.  Only 2 points from 8th in fact!

I digress, he is not sackable.

There's nothing wrong with being 9th. Especially on a small budget.

The problem is we know we've recruited well, which negates the small budget bit. And we know that Pardew has no game plan at all other than to defend and have players that can run round a lot and track back and negate the opposition. Which is utterly horrid to watch.

If he had the balls to admit that was his game plan, if you can even call it that, then maybe I could still kind of forgive him. I'd not like him, but maybe I could accept it. Maybe. But instead he then comes out with barefaced lies about what he's trying to do, saying he's trying to create this "front-foot attacking football" when everyone with eyes can see that's a blatant lie and that we spend virtually all of the 90 minutes looking terrified about what the opposition are going to do to us.

So again, nothing wrong with 9th. I think we should aim higher, and I think we should be higher, but I can accept 9th. But the manner of being 9th is just so horrific and soul destroying, and is killing my interest in watching us play. Which is heartbreaking.

It's just how badly we get beat, especially since February. You can't basically throw half a season and expect to be just fine the next season, ask WBA about that. Quite a few similarities there really considering they've struggled after losing their on loan striker.

If we'd spread these mega defeats out I wouldn't be as bothered as at least then we'd have shown character to fight back, as it is roof just falls in and we go games without scoring
