I'm impressed at your confidence given that you've been quite poor against teams worse than the ones we've played.

We started the season very light in the striker department, and then Gordon got a red card. Woltemade is a great signing and we have Wissa to come.

Three clean sheets in four games in the circumstances is encouraging. The other game was Liverpool, a game that we almost won, despite all the odds. I think we're now clicking into gear, and the squad as a whole looks much better than last season's, despite the loss of Isak.

Why we concede so few goals is an abiding mystery to me. In the final 3 games of the league cup, we played nearly five hours of football against the best two teams in the country, and conceded only one goal. Of all the miracles that our Eddie has produced, that's the most astonishing for me.

Now use the same website and look at our games.

Come on man. We played 3 games without a striker and could have/ should have won all 3. We win a game as soon as we have a striker available. You look poor with a strike force that's worth a fortune. It's not difficult.

We "should" have won 3 games as well. We didn't though.

"Not as bad as opposition fans think we are"

I could understand a brazen approach if they’d looked good in games. Sometimes you get a lot of that before the results come. It hasn’t happened in Amorim’s case though. I’d say there’s almost zero indicators that this iteration* of Man U are going to be a success.

* Ratcliffe at the helm, Glazers still cleaning up, Amorim at the wheel. No success is coming with that combo and I don’t think any success is coming with the first two in place
