Good article from the Athletic last year, but modified for the present. I guess the only question now is will the general malaise at Old Trafford be enough of a millstone around this guys neck.

Whilst Dan Ashworth is a disgraceful human being who deserves public humiliation, I do love the expectation that DoFs and Managers have to have an impossibly perfect transfer record in football.

I don’t think anyone has ever achieved that feat, but it’s always how their abilities are assessed as a baseline. One bad judgement? You’ll never hear the end of it.

Your guess is as good as mine to be honest.

Onana

Yoro (Maguire)

De Ligt (Lindelof)

Martinez (Evans)

Mazraroui (Dalot)

Ugarte (Casemiro)

Mainoo (Eriksen)

Shaw (Garnacho)

Amad (Rashford)

Fernandes (Mount)

Hojlund (Zirkzee)

Something like that maybe when they're all fit? Who knows.

He might have had something to do with the Hall transfer. That's all the credit I'm willing to give him. Even that is hard to tell from the outside.

Why is he? because a bigger club, closer to home with more resources offered him a job and he decided to embark on a new career move?

Happens everyday in business, football is a business. Really don't get the hate whatsoever

Because he spent £45m on Gordon and gave him a 3 year contract, wanted to sell Joelinton, and wanted Gary Neville as England manager.

Disgrace and stealing a living INO.

Also I think it’s the manner in which he left as well. Didn’t exactly cover himself in glory or professionalism despite reasonable motivations for wanting to move.
