Village Idiot
If Deulofeu leaves that's Pedro as the only senior cover for the front three, barring Iniesta going the wing. It's a stupid decision, but it seems Luís Enrique doesn't fancy him at all. It's true that the guy has big holes in his game, but imho he should stay with us and see if he can learn. His potential is immense.
Village Idiot
The only way this makes sense is if Cuadrado ends up coming and Alves stays, since then Cuadrado can eventually cover the wing. EDIT: Unless Lucho *really* likes Munir...
Teasy
Shane Long to Southampton for £12m.  I know I'm quite late to the party here but I only just found out about this. I was honestly amazed when I heard. SSN mentioned something about Southampton making two big signings, one a £12m striker and I thought they'd signed someone of real quality. Then it repeated in full and... Shane Long.. The blokes played 146 Premier League games and scored 28 goals. Hull signed him for £6m, he plays 17 games for them scoring just 4 goals and Southampton pay £12m for the fucker. Completely and utterly insane. Guest
Couldn't believe the clamber from a few people in the winter for us to sign him. Maybe it'll all click now for him now but I've seen nothing in him to suggest he's even a mid-table striker.
Guest
Didn't realise Hernandez had also went over to Qatar. Shame.
ponsaelius
@BumperGraham: It is being stared by @J__Gato who is a reliable guy that #Atletico WILL sign #Reus. IF this comes off it's close to the deal of the summer

Taylor Swift
Makes no sense for Reus to go there. To the Champions League finalists and winners of their respective domestic league? But he'd be going to the Dortmund version of Spain. He'd be moving sideways.
TaylorJ_01
Any player who actively wants to move from Dortmund is mental, imo. The place is incredible, absolutely incredible.
ponsaelius
Every good player should move to a select few clubs, obviously. If any player doesn't he's an IDIOT.
Ste
It's not a sideways step really, for reasons mentioned by hithere. Can understand him wanting a challenge in Spain.
Taylor Swift
Every good player should move to a select few clubs, obviously. If any player doesn't he's an IDIOT. Because of the way the system is currently constituted, that's the case, like it or not.
Unbelievable
I do think it is a sideways step. Wasn't long ago that BVB were in a CL final and won their league. Similar clubs, but I do believe Dortmund play the nicer football.

I'm not meaning it like that - more that Dortmund is the perfect club. I reckon I'd turn down everyone in favour to play there. Fuck I'd rather play there than at Newcastle

If you move from them you either go to an Big Money club or the Old School Elite clubs. It's not like the wages are vastly different either.
