The College Dropout
We really should've kept Cabaye. Could've got another 10m easy.
aussiemag
The Southampton sales isolated are all great deals, quite impressive they've managed to secure such high fees for players who collectively could only finish around mid table. Ashley must be looking at that and rubbing his hands. They had a manager that coached attractive football, this is important to teams like Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool. Hopefully Ashley realises this.
Wisdom Body
£20 million for Lovren is incredible. You pretty much have the moral obligation to sell the player for that amount. Liverpool must still be sniffing that Dalglish glue...

Pilko
I get the feeling the caretaker at St Mary's could put the bins out with the handles facing the wrong way and be subject of a £21m bid moments later.

Guest
I bet Wenger's gone straight to Debuchy for a private chat and explaining that it will really help Calum's game by letting him learn from him, just before inviting Calum into the room.

Debuchy then issues a "come and get me plea" to PSG. The bromance must reach a third series.
sempuki
16 mil for a player who's played 21 games is ridiculous I know time has moved on but Shearer cost less. Mental prices these days.
Dave
Mental prices maybe, but clubs are spending this money because they can. We're probably the only club still trying to get quality suitable for the Premier League at an average of around £6m, like the most ludicrous TV deal in history never happened. Foreign TV deals maybe, can't see Sky or BT paying much more than they are now. Sky's profits went down last year from the extra cost of the deal. Its all going to collapse in on itself sooner or later and then we'll be perfectly positioned to dominate english football
