Disco
Madrid press are weighing heavily it will be Hazard. But dunno, I think it will be a striker since Benzema seems to be on thin ice. That said there aren't obvious Galáctico targets in that position. Maybe PEA. Ronny upfront, Hazard on the wing?
Village Idiot
In all the years he's been playing for them, there's been many runs of Ronaldo up top. He's always went back to wing; he's just so much better with a striker in front of him, creating space and dragging defenders. Granted, now that he's in physical decline, he can no longer run the wing as much as he did. Him at #9 would be second best option, but still, feels suboptimal. joeyt
Talking about potential galacticos, Tom Cleverley has signed permanently for Watford on a 5 year deal
The College Dropout
Gave Benzema some stick on here recently but he's so under rated. A match recently h was just superb. Type of all action display you could never get from Ronaldo as a 9. Get a young striker. Or a CM. Hazard, Bale and Ronaldo are too lazy as a front 3 off the ball. James (another luxury player) > Hazard.

leffe186
New contract for Lingard at Man U, after 70 top flight appearances. £100,000 per week. ffs Saw that earlier and had the same reaction. He's not even that good. Also didn't realise they pay Ashley Young £120k a week The difference between the salaries we pay and those of Man U, Man C, Chelsea, Arsenal and even Liverpool, is still shocking. AyeDubbleYoo
Aren't Man Utd massively profitable?
leffe186
Aren't Man Utd massively profitable? Their wages are a smaller percentage of revenue than just about any other club. Doesn't make me any less amazed that we're competing at the same level despite the huge wage differential.
KaKa
Lingard is getting £100,000 a week?! That's amazing. Kudos to his agent. He plays once every 3 - 5 games man. Such a goofy thing for Man U to do.

Village Idiot
So, Tony Adams has brought Kieran Richardson and Nigel Reo-Coker to Granada on trial. This is going to be hilarious.
Foluwashola
Too foreign. Bring in two English lads everyone thought were dead. He's genuinely Mike Bassett Hugely impressed he's managed to kid Granada into giving him and a few of the lads a holiday.

nemtizz
Funny, because as director he said they need more homegrown players so the fans can relate to the team.
Guest neesy111
He's probably got them in to help this season. His views on the squad being too foreign will be long term.

Figures 1-0 Football
I'm confused like. To say the squad is too forrin, then bring in two Englishmen on trial, who in Spain will be forrin.
ponsaelius
Surely the biggest issue is not where they're from but that one of them has been playing in MLS and the other was released by Cardiff City after 6 games.
