Why's that a booking?!

 

An indirect free kick is also awarded to the opposing team if, in the opinion of the referee, a player:

 

•prevents the goalkeeper from releasing the ball from his hands

 

 

Is it a cautionable offence?

 

It left his hands.

 

Well yeah, but if the ref thought Sissoko broke that rule can he give a yellow for it?
