BottledDog
5 touches, including the trap to beat 6 defenders. Williamson can beat 6 defenders, 3 midfielders, and a striker with just one touch.
Ste
Watched it a few times now. There's no way you make the pass, it's not as obvious as on the still. You can see him consider it as he looks across and hesitates a moment.
Guest firetotheworks
All one foot as well. As skillful as he is, it's still always his directness that proper gets me, it really is like he's just a kid on the yard that wants to get to the goal as quickly as possible and lash it in, I love that about him probably more than anything else and it's why I enjoy the Bolton goal more than the Blackburn one. Hanshithispantz
I'm the same with the Bolton goal, it's so simple but so ridiculous. Like a young Nedum Onuoha.
AyeDubbleYoo
He's fearless on the ball, that's the best thing for me. He just goes for it, that's how football could be played if everyone wasn't so conservative.
Mike
He's such a fucking genius. He's just an absolute genius. We had a genius and we threw him out. A guy that can make everything out of nothing couldn't play because....who the hell knows. That's the type of person they choose to lead the team. This club will be shit 50 years from now. It's ingrained in at this point.

It's ingrained in at this point. Someone yesterday made a good point about how in a way because he was so much better than the rest of the team, he actually had less of a license to try things and fail because the rest of the team wasn't good enough to regain possession. If we'd had a team that was good enough (or in our collective opinion, that was managed properly) he'd have been able to do more, more often and even the dumbest in our fanbase would probably see that he's worth playing every game. Think it's wishful thinking though, unless we get a manager who comes and completely transforms the club and the mindset of the fans in the way that Wenger did at Arsenal, we've essentially got no chance. KaKa
I've never seen a player with his acceleration and control at high speed TBH, Messi comes close. Exactly who that reminds me of. Terrific stuff. Very frustrating for us. Sad.

They stumbled on an out of favor player that was available cheap. He turned out to be more than we could have ever imagined, but not enough to motivate the idiots in charge to build something worthwhile with him at the forefront. That's why this club will forever be irrelevant. Nothing is bigger than the plan to keep the billionaire rich. Football doesn't mean shit here. Who cares if the product is garbage. Just a shame Ben Arfa was here under the most slippery flak-dodger that's ever been a manager.

No there are far less Ashleys out there. Most people who spend that much money on a sporting team want said team to win something, or believe they can build something that could compete for a title or something. Nah I don't think so, Ben Arfa was the perfect Newcastle player but a few years too late. Going forward, who knows I suppose but I still think our fans will always love that type of player if we're not constantly in the midst of a crisis or relegation dogfight. Surely someone will buy into that tradition, I'd say it's rotten bad luck that it hasn't happened so far. Turning us around as a club seems an attractive proposition to me, imagine being the man that did that.
