I wouldn’t want to say anything about the character and personality of the man but Pardew started Bigirimana in that Europa League quarter final against Benfica and that’s about as stupid as it gets.

Pardew was self-aware enough to shed tears. SB was genuinely too stupid to insult. That's why he gets the crown imo.

Watched him playing for Dungannon Swifts in yesterday's Irish Cup final. They lost and he barely featured, from what I saw. Some destination, given how he started his career.

If I'm not mistaken, he didn't just start him, he started him on the right wing! I don't think we ever heard from him again until he was part of that rag-tag motley crew we punted to Rangers

But if he's got his bone, and the other one has got his bone...

Aww you like Shearer and Rafa so they should be exempt ? Grow up.

What you've said is complete and utter bollocks. Got fuck all to do with liking Rafa and Al and growing up.

Genuinely fucking outrageous you've said Al, and certainly Rafa, were prepared - and fully paid up - to turn this club into a zombie club.

Utter, utter, utter, shit.

Shearer took on the job to try and save his club from relegation at a time that no one else would. He wasn't a puppet for Ashley and he no doubt despised the bloke but he cared more about saving us from drop than he did doing Ashley's bidding. Some times there are bigger things at play and you need to dance with the devil.

As for Rafa, he saw the potential of this club and the opportunity to build it from scratch. Inadvertently, his competence gave Ashley the complacency to tighten the purse strings again which is the whole reason he ended up leaving. He was far from an Ashley minion, you could prehaps accuse him of being a little naïve, like the girl who dates a notorious bad boy cause she thinks she'll be the one turn it around and change him for the better.

The thing Al and Rafa have in common is that they saw the club as more than just Ashley

He genuinely does stick up for us mind.

Not a great manager and he took some stick whilst here, but due the arrogance of him I’m not sure it even fully registered and it certainly doesn’t now.

Every chance he gets he puts a good word in. There’s footage somewhere of Souness sounding off like a baby about us being a small club and Pardew wasn’t having any of it. Mind even Souness seems to have cooled off nowadays. It’s solely Bruce who is on his endless campaign to stick the boot in.

Aye because he's a convictionless cunt who runs with the hares and hunts with the hounds. As much as I disagree with him, disliked him, and think he got Newcastle all wrong, I at least respect Souness for having a spine and not rewriting history.

Pardew can stick up for us now that he's not being employed in large part to do the exact opposite and knock us down. Constantly playing down our expectations, talking about us like we're some nothing club who can't compete with literally any club in the league, and acting as a sales and PR man for the architect of our demise.

Pardew is the Lyle Lanley of football, a conman with a path of destruction behind him who talks about it all with dewey eyed mythos. Crack him open like a stick of Blackpool rock and it reads 'CHARLATAN CUNT' right through him. Awful manager and somehow probably an even worse bloke.

Doesn’t Souness constantly rewrite history about his time here, never once taking any accountability for some of the worst signings in the clubs history and blaming Shepard/The fans/the players for just about everything?

That's always been his position. Like I say I think he's wrong, but I at least respect him for not changing his tune to try and cosy up with the fanbase like that snivelling sack of shit.

Aye that was a strange one. Trying to pull back a 2 goal deficit and he starts Bigirimana and only brings HBA on for the last half hour.
