on what possible basis is he trying to claim he should get away with it. He should have been sent off 3 or 4 times in that game

3 or 4 times? He really had ''only'' two red card offences. His face to face confrontations and all his provocations aren't red card.

He might say it wasn't intentional, it blatantly was but he could argue he was looking at the ball.

This.

Said at the time it could at least be argued that it was accidental. Personally think he knew exactly what he was doing and meant it but I wouldn't be at all surprised if he managed to argue the fact it was accidental. Don't think this one's cut and dried by any stretch tbh.

The second stamp on Skrtel should remove any doubt over whether the first was accidental imo.

For all the talk about Alexis being so good last season, Neymar has already equalled his tally with 21 goals. 15 goals to go before being the best goal scoring partner Messi has had in a season. Eto'o scored 36 back in 08/09.

He's been great this season, Wednesday's was also his first "I'm going to boss this s***" performance too.

Didn't even think it was his best performance this season tbh. I know what you mean, but he's had some absolutely brilliant performances this season. Problem last season was consistency, but this season when he has bad performance he is at least contributing with goals and assists.

Listen to Neville, you would think he was a hard man. It's typical that he played the position where a wannabe hard man could show off with little retribution. Leaving some on skinny wingers who never tackle. He wasn't a CB because he was too small and weak.

@NUFCthreatlevel has just posted a great vine of Neville trying to clatter Ginola but Davide just skips past him....
